While the events in Marawi are tragic from the humanitarian standpoint, it does actually not affect Franchising as a way of conducting business. Since I frequently travel to and within Mindanao as RK Franchise Consultancy developed more than 100 Companies into Franchises in Mindanao, I just notice that there is more security in place and it feels even safer travelling around with a lot of check points and security measures. In places like Davao or Cagayan de Oro City I always feel safer than in many areas in Metro Manila, which unfortunately this thinking is not shared by all people from the Metropolis.
For the 11th time we organized the Mindanao Franchise Expo even with President Duterte having declared Martial Law in Mindanao, since we feel the people of Mindanao deserve to have this event regardless of political or military exercises since this is a plain business event and good for the development and business expansion of the region. However again, quite a number of Manila exhibitor were scared to join in the Davao event fearing for their safety, which is baseless. The 11th Mindanao Franchise Expo is hosted by Ayala’s Abreeza Mall from September 8 to 10 and entrance is free during mall hours.
Part of the Mindanao Franchise Expo is also a Seminar by yours truly at the Grand Regal Hotel on September 11 at 1.30 pm and beside we have also a Franchise Seminar on November 30 in Mallbery Suites Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City. At both seminars, Trademark specialist Sokrie Malaco will explain everything about the importance obtaining a Trademark.
Nobody should fear the declaration of Martial Law when it comes to franchising and instead go on with their activities and for any Mindanao Company it is the best way to either grow their business nationwide or for an individual to invest their money to buy a Franchise. The times to franchise have never been better than now. RK Franchise Consultancy continues to develop
We are featuring with this magazine Franchises from Mindanao and Western Visayas, since we organize for the 3rd time the Iloilo Franchise Expo from October 27 to 29 at Robinsons Place Iloilo, which hosted this event previously already and more than 40 Companies will showcase their Franchise Opportunities for Panay and Negros Island in particular. Again I host a Franchise and Trademark seminar on October 30 in Iloilo Midtown Hotel to teach about the importance of Franchising and trademarking.
We also participate with our Middle East sister company Franaccess in the Expos in Singapore, Dubai and Bahrain in the months of October and November 2017 and it is my special owner being the Main speaker about Franchising in the GCC events.
The market in the Middle East is growing so strong for Filipino brands, since the Franchise buyers not only like the brands but also hire Filipino workers to do the jobs in those franchised facilities.
I like to congratulate also our clients Phoenix Petroleum, Bread N’ Butter and Nails.Glow for winning excellence awards in the PFA Event during FranchiseAsia 2017 at SMX in Mall of Asia.
